About Your Counselor
Hi there! I’m Sam, a Florida-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for teens, adults, and children ages 14 and up. I help individuals navigate anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, trauma, and other difficulties that can make life feel overwhelming. I also support those exploring questions around faith, spirituality, and religious experiences.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and parts work inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I'm also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process difficult experiences and reduce the lasting impacts of trauma. I'm Prepare/Enrich Certified to help couples prepare for a healthy and long-term marriage. I believe that healing happens when we can approach ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and a deeper understanding of the experiences that shape us.
I prioritize creating an environment that is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, as well as fostering a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure, shame, or the need to have everything figured out. In addition to my clinical work, I create trauma-informed workbooks and mental health resources designed to make healing more approachable, practical, and accessible. I’m passionate about translating therapeutic concepts into meaningful tools that support self-reflection, emotional growth, and lasting change.
