Hello! I'm Chantena, but you can call me Tena. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, offering maternal mental health therapy across the state of Florida.
Are you navigating pregnancy, postpartum changes, fertility challenges, or a high-risk pregnancy while managing anxiety, depression, or uncertainty? I support women through these transitions by providing a safe, compassionate space to feel heard, process their experiences, and build emotional resilience.
My approach is person-centered and grounded in practical, evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These help to support emotional regulation, healthier coping techniques, and fostering meaningful change.
As a Christian woman of faith, I welcome clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing, while respecting each person’s individual beliefs and experiences. My goal is to help women feel supported, empowered, and equipped to care for their mental and emotional well-being, especially during and after pregnancy.
I also have experience and enjoy working with personality disorders, adolescents, and providing LGBTQ+ affirming care.
